Motorola Defy officially released. This phone was once made in collaboration with the Bullit Group, a UK-based agency best known for making CAT and Land Rover branded phones. The two companies had introduced a strategic partnership in early February.
As a tough phone, the Motorola Defy is constructed to face up to intense prerequisites and boasts some extraordinary claims. First, it can withstand a drop of up to 1.8 meters and can effortlessly stand up to repeated falls at every angle. Second, it has a unique dual-layer TPU cover, presenting full safety underwater at a depth of 1.5 meters for up to 35 minutes. Defy is also dust and sand resistant, and you can wash it with soap or cleaner. On the front, it has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, which offers best-in-class scratch resistance. Motorola says the phone can work even in severe temperatures (+55°C to -25°C.)
While the construct nice is quite impressive, the interior hardware is less impressive. After all, the Motorola Defy is just a rebranded Moto G9 Play. It packs a 6.5-inch HD+ show with a 60Hz refresh rate, sports a Snapdragon 662 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. For optics, there is a triple digicam setup consisting of a 48MP principal camera and two 2MP depth and macro sensors.
The cellphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with assist for 20W speedy charging. Motorola Defy uses Android 11 with Motorola My UX. Complementing the specifications of the Motorola Defy is a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Motorola Defy will be launched in the UK and Europe before the give up of June for €325 ($390). Latin America follows, however there are no plans for North America and Asia yet.
